Privacy Policy.

How Join in Live collects and uses personal information, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 15 September 2026.

Who we are

This policy explains how Join in Live (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information through this website and when you get in touch with us. We are responsible for that information. You can reach us at contact@joininlive.ai.

This policy covers our website only. When our product runs inside a broadcaster’s or partner’s app, that partner’s own privacy notice explains how audience information is used, and we handle that information on the partner’s instructions under our contract with them.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, email address, organisation, the details of your enquiry and whether you would like news and updates. Our contact and booking forms open your own email app with your message ready to send, so this information reaches us as an email.
  • When you visit the site: our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. We use this to run and secure the site.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors to this website.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies for ordinary visits. Private previews of the site that ask for a password set one strictly necessary cookie so you do not have to enter the password again. It contains no personal information and expires after 30 days.

Services that receive information when you visit

  • Railway hosts this website and keeps the technical records described above.
  • Google Fonts delivers the typefaces, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
  • Cloudflare delivers a graphics library used by an animation on the homepage, so it receives your IP address when that page loads.

If you follow a link to another website, such as our Instagram page, that website’s own privacy policy applies.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange calls, because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or because you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract.
  • To send you news and updates, only if you have asked for them. You can withdraw your consent at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
  • To keep the website running and secure, because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the providers who help us run our website and email, and only as far as they need it to provide their service. We may also disclose it where the law requires us to.

International transfers

Some of our providers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any relationship that follows, and normally no longer than two years after our last contact with you. We keep your details for news and updates until you ask us to stop.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email contact@joininlive.ai.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children.

Changes to this policy
